Abby's First Merry-Go-Round!

On Wednesday, March 28th Abby and I had a little time to kill so we decided to go to the Provo Mall and I took Abby on her first Merry-Go-Round, she had a ball!

Playground time!

Yesterday (March 21st) while Abby and I were waiting for daddy to finish his evening class we decided to go for a walk around this park up in Orem. We found this really cool playground and Abby went to town! She especially loved the slide and swings!

I can't believe how brave Abby is! She kept going down the slide again and again and didn't want any help from me.

Abby was so content just swinging, so cute!

A really funny thing happened...I was walking around the park when this creepy overweight dude walks by without a shirt. As I try to shield my eyes this little girl (maybe 5) yells to the man "Why ain't you wearing a shirt?" to which he replies "Just getting some sun" to which she replies "No one wants to see you naked!" LOL! Funniest thing ever!!!

St. Patty's Day!

We had a wonderful St. Patty's Day this year! From getting all decked out in greenest gear to preparing a very green meal and dessert we had a blast.

Longboarding with my baby!

We've been loving this warm weather we've been having lately and decided to take advantage of it. On Friday (March 16th) we decided to go on a walk and I thought it would be fun to bring my longboard. Abby was completely mesmerized by it and kept laughing and laughing when I rode by. I decided that it might be fun to have her ride with me so when we got to this church by our house Abby and I did a little riding in the parking lot, it was a blast!

On February 13th, 2011 Matt's youngest sister Allison and her hubby welcomed Adelaide Charlotte Thelin to their family! We haven't met little Addie yet but we are already in love with this sweet girl!! Happy 1-month birthday Adelaide and welcome to our family!

Moab Madness!

We love when it starts getting warmer outside because that means it's almost spring time and that means it's time for us to head down to Moab for our annual Moab Madness trip! Every March we head down as a family to spend the weekend in warm and sunny Moab for hiking, swimming, eating, and relaxing!

We got to Moab on Friday, March 9th and first thing we did was take photos, lol! Next we headed to dinner at our traditional spot the Moab Brewery.







After dinner we went back to the hotel to get a little swimming in! Abby loves swimming and is literally like a fish in water.





The next day (Saturday, March 10th) we went for a walk through this park in downtown Moab which was so much fun. Before we left though I was able to snap a couple cute pics of my loves...




We played on the play ground, walked alongside this little creek and just enjoyed the time together. Sadly Matt had to do homework most of the day so it was really fun just spending time with my brother and sister who came as well.

For lunch we went to this really good Mexican restaurant called 'Fiesta Mexicano' and it was so yummy!!! It is definitely a new favorite of mine.




Saturday night we went to my aunt Emily's church to have dinner with the whole gang (all 50+ of us). We had a potluck which was really yummy!!






Later Saturday night we decided to go swimming one last time before we headed home the next day. Matt was able to come swimming with us (I may have threatened him a little, lol) and it was so much fun! I am so glad we have these fun opportunities!






We had such an amazing time down in Moab and can't wait to do it again next year!
