I Like to Ride My Bicycle!

So this summer, especially since I am not working, I have been trying to ride my bike more. Not only is the exercise good, but it's so much fun!

 

My friend Brittany showed me this trail up on the mountain near Pleasant Grove and it has become my new favorite! The view is fantastic and I feel like I am actually mtn. biking. I love the trail so much I have taken my brother mtn. biking on it and my friend Kathy (see photos below).

Here are some photos of my friend Kathy (who I have known since high school...sum 12 years ago) on the same trail up in Pleasant Grove. We had a BLAST! I even found a little jump (which I am sure to anyone watching looks like the smallest little thing) but it was SOOOO much fun!

 

 I even took the kids on a bike ride (in the bike trailer of course) to Salem Pond. It was only about a 6 mile bike ride (round trip) but when you are towing 75 lbs worth of kids it definitely felt longer!

Payson Lakes!

 

This past Saturday we had the opportunity to spend the evening in Payson Lakes with the Olson family. It has been a tradition to spend a weekend up in Payson Lake with my mom's side of the family since I was young. While we no longer camp there (which is fine by me, I am not much of a camper) we do like to go up for an evening and have dinner with everyone. It was so much fun taking the kids and walking around the lake. I sure love my family, it may sound cheesy but it is true!

Happy 10 Years to US!

On August 10th, Matt and I celebrated the 10th anniversary of our first date. We recreated it by doing the exact same thing as our very first date...we went to Red Robin at the Provo Mall and watched Fantastic Four at the theater (what are the odds?). It was a great night and it is hard to believe it's been 10 years! I sure do love my hubby and imagining my life without him is unbearable. In February we will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I can't wait to celebrate another 10 years with him. I love you Matthew Allen DeGriselles, you make me strive to be a better person while making me feel content in my own skin. You are not only my rock, but you are my air and my sunshine. Love you!

4th of July!

For the 4th of July this year we headed over to Matt's sister Danielle's house for a BBQ and firework show!

Over this past weekend we had the amazing opportunity to witness Matt's baby brother Tim marry his best friend for all time and eternity in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. It was a beautiful wedding and reception and we are thrilled to welcome Sonia to our family.
