The Kids Rooms!

This weekend Matt and I turned our spare room into Liam's room/Matt's office. Ever since we had Abby I have always wanted to do an outer-space themed room if I had a little boy. There weren't a lot of outer-space themed decorations (seems like super heroes are the popular bedroom theme right now) but I think it turned out pretty cute with what we could find...

Ryan and I made this mural (with stickers I found at Target). We included constellations of our Zodiac signs. Matt = Libra, Brittany = Taurus, Abby = Capricorn, Liam = Pisces

One of Abby's favorite books!

This is a painting I did for Matt a couple of years ago. I think it fits perfect in Liam's room!

Since we moved Liam's crib out of Abby's room we were able to move all of the toys into Abby's room. While we were doing that I found my old rocking chair that I had in my room when I was younger. It was given to me by my grandma Bergera who received it from her grandma. I have always wanted to give it to my daughter one day and I figured this would be a good time to do it. So the rocking chair is actually Abby's great-great-great grandmother's, talk about a family heirloom!

3 Months Old!

Well my little guys is already 3 months old! It amazing to me how fast the time flies after you have a baby. The last 3 months of any pregnancy seem to just drag. Now that Liam is already 3 months old I don't know where the time went.

Liam is such a big boy! Not only does he has his own outer-space themed room now (photos coming soon!) but he can hold his head up when he is on his stomach, can eat a banana (and loves it too!), loves to smile and also coo's like crazy.

One of Abby's favorite things is watching youtube videos on my phone. She knows how to turn my phone on, find youtube, and search her favorite videos. She is one smart girl! The other day though she brought up a Bob Ross video which was pretty funny. We watched it together and I told her that he was painting. After that all she wanted to do was paint so yesterday we decided to do a little painting. She did a great job! She didn't make a huge mess or anything. She did a couple of pictures, one for my mom and one for me. Love this girl!

Mother's Day and My B-day!

For my birthday this year Matt spoiled me like usual, lol. My amazing aunt Cathy watched our kids for us so we could have a little birthday get-a-way. We went up to Salt Lake Friday, May 10th and spent the night up there. We went rock climbing, out to eat, looked at some cars (wishful thinking), and just enjoyed our time together. 

On Sunday, May 12th, aka Mother's Day we had the opportunity to skype Austin who is serving a mission in Madagascar. It was the first time we have seen him (via webcam at least) since October 2011. It was great! He was able to see Liam and Abby which was amazing.

That night we had a little get together at my mom's house to celebrate Mother's Day, my mom's birthday on May 10th and my birthday on May 13th.

Happy Birthday Mom!

I just wanted to take a moment to wish my mom a very Happy Birthday! I could not imagine my life without you mom. You've taught me to have strength  endurance  kindness  patience, humor, and happiness, During the hardest times in my life, when I felt like I did not have the strength to go on, you carried me through it. You have never let me down. You have never lost faith in me. You are a woman I want to emulate in thought, action, and deed. You are my friend and my hero, I love you mom. 

What I'm Reading...

In an attempt to read more I've decided to add a feature to my sidebar called, "What I'm Reading". I will update it with the current book I am reading. Hopefully this will motivate me to read more!

Happy Day!

A couple years ago I found this website called picnic.com where you could upload your photos and edit them in a very user-friendly format. My favorite thing about the website is that you could do it all online so no matter what computer you were using you would have access to it. I loved using picnic.com until they decided to close the site. I was devastated! Ok well not really but just very, very bummed. So that was maybe 2-3 years ago. I figured I would never find anything as amazing and that was life. Well two days ago I was looking online for a new editing website online and I stumbled upon ribbet.com. After careful examination I realized that ribbet.com is EXACTLY THE SAME AS picnic.com, just a different name! So I am going a little crazy with editing photos now, lol. Here are some of the ones I have worked on...
