A Little of This and A Little of That! (Photos from November & December)

Abby had to disguise this turkey for her class...I think she did a great job!!!

Me and this fun girl went on a little bike ride this afternoon...it was amazing!!!

Guess it's official now. :) #onlytookthreemonths #itsallgoodthoughbecauseiloveithere

I am a little obsessed with the view outside my kitchen window this morning.

This cute boy has decided to wear the glasses from his Halloween costume all day. He is pretty stinkin adorable though.

Someone is giving me the "bird", lol!

So our ward had a Christmas party last week and the primary children sang us a cute song. When they started heading up to the stage, Liam surprisingly followed Abby. While on stage the two held hands the entire time. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen. So glad we captured it on camera.

Homework...it ain't got nothing on these two!

The games kids come up with crack me up! They are trying to see who can reach the highest ornament with their toes. Guess who's winning. ;)

Abby's class had a Pajama Party, and look who came!

My boys!

Took the kids sledding for the first time. Abby was fearless and took the steep hills at Peteetneet head on (literally) while Liam and I watched from above. She crashed a few times but was incredibly brave. So thankful to have this day off to spend with these two goofballs.

Just watching a little television, crazy kids!

Christmas 2016!

Christmas this year was AMAZING! I am blessed with such a wonderful family and I am so grateful I got to enjoy the holidays with them once again. We spent Christmas Eve with my mom at our house, and I reminisced about the last 11 years of Christmas's...

11 years of Christmas pajamas and counting!

These two cuties rocked their Christmas pajamas this year! I love that we have the tradition (dating back to when I was a little) of opening pajamas every Christmas Eve. The kids love the tradition!

We decided to have a Nativity Program and the kids were so cute! Abby was Mary, Liam was Joseph, and Abby's little doll was baby Jesus. We read through the scriptures as the kids acted it out. Cutest thing ever!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!

Such a perfect Christmas! The kids got spoiled, the house was filled with love, I couldn't have asked for a better day to celebrate the Savior's birth.

The Olson Christmas Party!

The kids performed "Jingle Bells" at our family Christmas Party last night. They did AMAZING!!! I am so proud of them! I thought they would be nervous but Abby just took the microphone and they both sang their hearts out. Love these two so much!!

A Little of This and A Little of That! (Photos from Sept. & Oct.)

Crazy hair day at Abby's school...I think we nailed it!

Story time at our house. (I know it's late but better late than never right?!)

Came upstairs to these two playing Barbie's.

Abby started gymnastics last week and is loving it!! The best part? Her best friend is in her class, how awesome is that?!

"Get your toys! "Get your lemonade!!"

My daughter is seriously the cutest thing ever!! She drew this for me and quickly realized she gave me the wrong eye color, lol. I told her it was ok and I still loved it. I think she is just amazing!

What do you do when you find glasses that look like they are from the 80s? Turn Liam into a mini-Matt of course, lol!!!

I love how this boy fell asleep sitting up. Too cute!

Happy Birthday Matt...you old man!

It's not every day that you get to celebrate your favorite persons birthday...and it's even more of an event when they are turning 40!!! I tried to make sure Matt had an amazing birthday and I think I did a pretty dang good job!

Matt's birthday was on a Sunday this year so the night before I took him out to dinner at one of his favorite restaurants, Tucanos. We haven't been in easily over a year and it was high time we went. We enjoyed the food and company, and it was nice just having an evening to ourselves.

Bright and early Sunday morning, October 2nd, we go up and spoiled Matt with some presents. The kids had a lot of fun helping to pick out Matt's presents (some new clothes for work and a lot of candy). They loved helping him open his presents as well. It was fun spoiling Matt and letting him know how much we love him.

That afternoon Matt's siblings came over to surprise him for his birthday and I surprised him with this killer cake. I think we did good. It's cute because the kids really wanted him to have a Star Wars cake and I wanted it to be funny so I thought of this saying to write on it, "Your lack of youth disturbs me!" and I think it fit pretty perfectly.

Overall I think he had a pretty good birthday. I am glad we were able to extend it to two days, spoil him with presents and food, and that his siblings were able to come over and help celebrate.
