What the?!

So I was just kicking back at work minding my own business when I noticed this mass of Mozy employees (they work in the same building as us) outside. It was like the whole company was standing outside our window and for the life of us we couldn't figure out what they were doing. After further inspection we figured out they were taking a company photo. Now what really confused us is what we saw next...
Let's take a closer look...

Ya it's R2D2...stuck in a tree...if you can figure this one out let me know! Crazy Mozy folks!!

Happy B-day lil bro!

Yesterday was my little brother Ryan's 20th b-day. It's insane to think that my little brother is already 20 years old! Sometimes it's hard to believe that I am even older then 20! I remember filming our TV show "The Colors Return" with Ryan and Austin and just being so incredibly silly and having a ball...to think that was almost 10 years ago blows my mind! Ryan and I since the time he was born have been pretty inseparable, he's been my best friend for years and years and I love his guts! For Ryan's b-day we had our very first BBQ at our new place and had a really good night! It was fun showing off our new place to our family while celebrating Ryan's big day.

My amazingly hot hubby and myself!
In our newly finished backyard...I think it turned out pretty cute!

Ryan (the b-day boy!) and Matt grilling up a storm!

Mom and Oz waiting for the grub!

The whole gang chowing down!

Ryan and mom...matching so perfectly!
Chelsie and Wes...Wes is such a goof!

The Man of the Hour!

Ryan opening his present from me and Matt :)

Austin and Chelsie with cute Ressie

Ressie was trying to eat Austin's hair...so stinkin cute!

Me and my sibs (minus Ryan)...check out that look on Austin's face?!

Wes thought it was so funny the peep hole was so small...
...personally I couldn't see what was so funny!

Ryan all tuckered out, too funny!

My life so far… (and no not the Jane Fonda book)

So besides the house post I feel like I haven’t posted in forever and it’s about time for a quick update! Besides adding a few finishing touches to our new place Matt and I have been busy working on our yard and…I love it!! I don’t know what it is about being outside on a warm sunny day playing in the dirt that I love so much but it makes my day! I sit here at work for 9 hours (which I might add isn’t that bad) but as soon as I get off I run home, throw on some basketball shorts and a t-shirt and start weeding or raking or planting flowers and don’t stop until its too dark to see my hand in front of my face. True I’ve only done this one day now (lol) so maybe after a week I will get sick of it but for now it’s been pretty fun. I’ve planted a couple shrubs, flowers, and am still in the process of deciding if I want a little veggie garden. I have enough room for a couple of plants its just deciding what to get…hmmmany suggestions?

As for recent events last Friday (4/17) Matt and I went up to Matt’s brother Aaron’s place to hang out with some of Matt’s siblings (Allie, her hubby Tim, and Tim Matt's brother) which was really nice. Allie, Tim, and Tim visited from California for the week (Allie’s hubby Tim has family in Salt Lake) so they stopped by to visit Aaron, Matt and myself and it was really fun. The boys played Halo for what seemed like hours (I think I even took a little nap) and then we had some very yummy spaghetti and garlic bread and it was perfect!

A couple of days before our visit with Matt's family my sister Chelsie had a b-day BBQ at her place and we had this amazing chicken wrapped in bacon and topped with shrimp…it was superb!! Chels opened some presents (she got a laptop from her hubby Wes…too cool!), we played with Ressie for awhile, and had some b-day cake (which was actually an ice cream cake I made) it was so yummy!

This coming Friday (4/24) my little brother Ryan is turning 20!! I seriously cannot believe he is going to be 20…that’s so completely crazy to me! I know its so cliché to say but I honestly remember being like 12, Ryan 8, and us just being so silly filming our little TV show and having a ball! Now its 12 years later (holy cow!) and we’re roomies and I love it! It’s been so nice when Matt’s at work to come home and not be alone, I get to hang out with my brother, what's better then that?! Well to celebrate the big day we are having our first BBQ at our new place (Yea!) and I can’t wait to show it off to the family. That’s another reason I’ve been busy getting the yard done because when we moved in it was quite overgrown with weeds everywhere and grass growing like 10 feet tall…hehe ok a little exaggerated…but it’s going to look so good and I am so excited!

So besides b-days and yard work we really haven’t been up to too much. Matt is still working like crazy at Wally World and though it does quite often drive us crazy its better then being unemployed right? Hopefully things will calm down a little for summer…we’ll keep our fingers crossed! I am keeping busy with work (though never to the extent as Matt…poor guy). I am dabbling in the idea of taking a pottery class at The Art Institute up at Thanksgiving Point (let me know if you’re interested!) so we’ll see how that goes. I am also planning on attending UVU this fall to wrap up some the rest of my generals and then we’ll see from there. Well that’s my life so far (pretty clever how I worked the title of my post into the ending huh?!) later!

Happy Easter!

So I am a little late in posting this but Matt and I had a wonderful Easter and I don't think we could have asked for a better day! Matt woke me up bright and early to exchange Easter baskets and he definitly out did himself again! He got me so many goodies they couldn't all fit in my basket!!

He spoiled me with a couple of season sof Lost, 4 different books, a couple of cook books, a cd, Pinocchio, and some yummy sweettarts! What an amazing hubby I have!
I tried to spoil Matt as much as he did me but that boy always out does himself!

I got Matt a holder for his GPS unit, a book, a video game, a pocketknife, some nuts, some chocolate preztels and 30 Rock.
Later that night we headed over to my mom's house for dinner and to spend some time with the family. Mom made us some yummy pasta salad, ham, and some chips and dip to much on, delcious! I made some Easter sugar cookies that I think everyone really enjoyed!

Yum!

Me and my hubby!

My mom and sleepy Ryan (poor guy hadn't slept in over 24 hours!)

Matt just kick back!
After dinner we all gathered together in the front room to find Easter eggs. My mom hide one for each kid with a special surprise inside. All she told us was that there would either be a $1-$20 bill inside. We all got our egg and then opened them youngest to oldest to see who got the most money!

Chelsie with her yellow egg and Wes with his purple egg

Austin with his green egg and Ryan with his blue

Matt with his orange egg (and mine was pink)

Austin opening his egg up...and he got the $20! We were all a littl bummed that he got the $20 until...

We all opened our eggs to find out that we all got $20!

Matt and I just kicking back!

And of course a pic of cute Ressie! She got this huge Easter bunny that she loves!

Happy Birthday Chels!

Today is my sister's birthday and I just wanted to give her a little shout and wish her an amazing Birthday! Chels is pretty much a freaking awesome sister and she can always make me laugh!! I love her to death and hope she has a fun-filled day! Yesterday, April 13th, was my Grandpa Bergera's birthday. Grandpa passed away over a year ago and I still miss him so much! He is an amazing soul and brought so much joy and happiness to his family. Happy Birthday Grandpa, we love you and can't wait to see you again!

Perfect Timing!

So I am pretty much stoked right now because Matt and I have been awarded a free nights stay at the Westgate Resort and Spa in Park City and I can't wait to go!! Luckily for me we are taking off tomorrow to spend the night up in Park City at one of the nicest hotels I have ever been to and the best part is it's free...how awesome is that?! This all came about when I got a call from the resort that in their efforts to save a little money they are cutting down on their marketing expenses and instead the hotel is offering free night stays when you go on a 90-min tour of the place (I am guessing it might have to do with a time share thingie but whatever makes it free is fine by me!) Matt and I actually stayed at this hotel back in 2006 when Matt took me up there for my 21st birthday...all I can say is the hotel is amazing! It's SO nice! And even if the hotel wasn't that great just to get a way for the night, away from boxes and unpacking and cleaning will be well worth it! YEA!

Here are some pictures from my b-day '06...

Yea...The Westgate Resort!! Expensive but well worth it!

It's HUGE!

All my presents...Matt spoiled me!

I had to throw a smooching picture in here!

We Moved!

Well as you can tell by my ever so subtle title Matt and I moved! I didn't want to post anything until it was official but this weekend we got the keys, moved all our stuff over, and even stayed the night...it can't get more official then that right?

Our new place is in Pleasant Grove about 5 mins from my work and I love it! It's a town home, has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a backyard, a huge pantry, tons of storage, and stairs! Needless to say we are in love with the place and can't wait to get everything unpacked and moved around and situated the way we like!

My brother Ryan is living with us and helping out on the rent and I am so excited to have him here. He works up in American Fork (which is sorta across the street from us...ya it's that close) so once we told him we were looking at a place in Pleasant Grove he jumped at the chance to be so close to work and a little more independent...having him help with rent definitely made us happy to! Plus I've always been so close to my brother that I think it will rock chillin with him days that Matt works late.

Well like I said above we moved everything this weekend and all I can say is compared to the last time we moved (about a year ago) it was SO much better! No contention, no stress, just very easy going and relaxed, the best move thus far in my life! The only downside is now we have about a million boxes all over that need to be organized but all in due time right?
