Our Crazy Life! (Photos from November & December)

Twice now, while on our morning walks, we've come across these two super friendly dogs. The one just jumped right into Liam's lap, it was pretty funny. We love running into them!

So Abby's teacher asked all the students to make musical instruments at home and bring them to class on Monday. She wants to make an ukulele and I think she is nailing it!

My Reflections Contest winner! So proud of Abby and her hard work. The theme was "Within Reach" and she nailed it! Next up regionals!!

Last Saturday we took the kids to Gardner Village and they had a blast! Abby was able to go in a pony ride, and for a girl who loves horses and ponies it was a dream come true. You can't really beat spending time together as a family!

Before Thanksgiving dinner we decided to work on a little family project: Putting up the Christmas lights and raking the leaves. The kids had a lot of fun helping out and the yard looks great!

Today we took advantage of the freakishly warm weather and raked all the leaves in the backyard. In total we raked 18 large bags!! I'm beat!

Santa came to our Ward Christmas Party, the kids were so excited!

It's official...we're having a BOY!

It's official...we're having another BOY! Today I had my 20-week ultrasound and our little 'Maxwell James' is healthy and growing like crazy. We are ecstatic, and can't wait to meet our little man. Only 20 more weeks to go!

Thanksgiving 2017

Thanksgiving this year was so much fun! We enjoyed a little turkey, some games with the family, and all the pie we could handle!

Disneyland Trip 2017!!

The week of November 13th - November 17th was one we will not forget! After almost three years of waiting we finally took a family trip to Disneyland and it was AMAZING!!!! It took months for us to save (longer than I have ever saved for a single trip) but we did it!! This may be a bit of a photo overload but we definitely created some memories we will never forget.

Day 1 - Monday, November 13th, 2017

On Monday we set off for our vacation of the year! We drove the long, 8-hour drive, to Matt's folks house (in Apple Valley, California) and stayed with them that night. It was so fun to see them, as well as Matt's grandparents who live with them, and catch up. We got to bed early so we could get up early the next day and take off to Anaheim.

Day 2 - Tuesday, November 14th, 2017

On Tuesday, along with Matt's folks who joined us for our trip, we drove to Anaheim to spend the day at Disney's California Adventure Park. It was a blast!!! The weather was perfect and the crowds were sparse, such a good day!

Day 3 - Wednesday, November 15th, 2017

Today was the day we had waited for...DISNEYLAND!!! We had SO MUCH FUN at Disneyland. Once again the weather was great and the crowds were pretty small. I think the longest we waited for a ride was maybe 45-minutes, not too bad at all! Another really cool thing was that our hotel was just across the street. It made it super nice when we got tired and just needed a break. Plus it had a bunk bed for the kids which they LOVED! Matt' folks stayed with us and that made it even funner. The whole day was seriously amazing, so grateful we were able to go!

 

The teacups were Abby's absolute favorite!

Liam was our little navigator. He LOVED the maps and would tell us exactly where we needed to go.

Day 4 - Thursday, November 16th, 2017

On Thursday we took the kids to Huntington Beach. It was their first trip to the beach and I tried to get as many photos of them as I could. They LOVED the beach and it was such a good day to just relax in the sand. Love making memories with these kids!

Day 5 - Friday, November 17th, 2017

Friday was a less eventful day. We headed home bright and early and arrived back home by nightfall. Overall we had one of the best vacations we have had in a long time. We've already decided we will try to make it back Spring of 2020 (baby #3 will still be under 2 so they will be free and Abby and Liam will be under 9 so they will be discounted), now just to save our money!!!
