For Abby's 3-Month Birthday we decided to try and feed her some rice cereal. It was the first time she has eaten anything besides milk and though it took a little while at first (she is still learning) she finally was able to get some of it down. Of course she got most of it on her face, her clothes, her bumboo, and her mom, she still did an awesome job! Way to go baby! (4/7/2011)

3 Months Old!

Our baby girl just keeps getting bigger and bigger! It's pretty stinkin amazing that she is already 3 months old. It may be a cliche but it seems like just yesterday she was just a brand new baby in my arms and now she is just showing us her cute personality, it's so fun!

She is passing some really cool milestones too! She has officially rolled over from her stomach to her back and we know it's only a matter of time until she rolls from her back to her stomach. Another fun thing I just noticed this past Sunday was that Abby can now reach for stuff when you hold it in front of her. It was pretty amazing to me when I was holding up her binky in front of her and she reached out for it. She hasn't quite mastered grabbing yet but she can definitely see the object and it's just amazing to me how smart she is.

I just love my baby girl so much and it's been so incredible for me to watch her grow in front of my eyes. She loves to smile and boy does she love her daddy! She lights up whenever he talks to her and it has to be one of the cutest things for me to see. I can't thank my Heavenly Father enough for bringing Abby into my life!

So my brother Austin...


is pretty much my favorite photographer ever. So I am a little biased but seriously he is good! He has the ability to capture a moment in no other way I've seen before. From the smallest most mundane things like a icicle to a breath-taking sunset he is pretty stinkin amazing at making them the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. He has a bunch of his photos posted here, however here are a couple of my personal favorites...

This picture actually won a "Daily Deviation" which basically means a 'photo of the day' on the website deviantart.com, an art sharing website. Overnight it got over 4,000 hits, very impressive!

And of course this one has to be my all time favorite! There's just not enough words to describe how much I love this little girl! She definitely has one talented uncle!!

Just hangin' out with the fam!

On Saturday (4/2/2011) my aunt Cathy and her kids Riley and Scotty decided to come down and hang out for the afternoon. We definitely don't get to see them as often as we would like and it was great just hanging out all afternoon. We ordered pizza, played with Abby girl, and just enjoyed the day. I took a couple of pictures of Abby girl with "great" aunt and cousins!

I have always been so close to my Aunt Cathy that it's been so fun seeing her with Abby. I can only imagine how much fun she had with me and my sister when we were little babies.

Riley had so much fun with Abby. I remember when Riley was as little as Abby girl and it's so fun seeing the tables turned and now Riley has the little baby to play with. She was so good with Abby it was so fun!

Scotty sure does love his little (second?) cousin. He was holding her so carefully (he even told me at one point when I picked her up that I needed to watch her head, so cute!) and you could tell he just loves her so much!

It was pretty cute too cause a couple of times Abby stated crying (hungry? wet? bored? who knows) and Scotty would say so nonchalantly "Was it something I said?" it cracked us all up!

I just have to say that I am just so grateful for my amazing family and friends. I honestly couldn't imagine better people for Abby to be surrounded with. She is such a lucky girl and I am such a lucky girl, there seriously aren't better people in the world!
