We had such a wonderful and BUSY Christmas this year!
We started things off by having our Christmas with my mom and my sister Chelsie and brother Ryan on Saturday, December 22nd. Matt, Abby, and myself headed to California later that day so we decided to get a little head start with our Christmas festivities. It was so much fun seeing the difference in Abby with last year and this year. She was opening presents and having fun passing out presents as well. She was also a little stinker some of the time and we had to put her down for a nap at one point. Next year should be even funner with Abby almost 3 and little Liam 9 months old!
I drew this picture for my mom, I think she liked it!
One of Matt's most expensive presents was this frame for his Bachelors degree (which will probably get here in a couple of weeks). I am excited to see how his degree looks in and how it looks hanging up in his new office at work.
Abby got this new baby doll which she loves! The first thing we asked her when she opened it was what was baby's name and she said "baby Liam", it was too funny!
Matt had the idea to get Abby this tricycle and she loves it! Matt did his research to make sure she got the best little tricycle and it is perfect!
Later that day we headed out to California to enjoy Christmas with Matt's side of the family. Out of the eight Christmas's we have celebrated together we have only been to Matt's families house I think two or three times. It was definitely time for us to visit them again. It also helped that we were able to get so much time off from work. We stayed in St. George Saturday night (December 22nd) and then arrived in California on Sunday (December 23rd). We enjoyed the next couple of days catching up with family, watching Abby play with her cousins Luke (6), Leona (4), Emma-Lee (almost 2), and Addie (almost 1) and enjoying some good food! We even saw The Hobbit on Wednesday. We headed back home on Thursday (December 27th) to a snow storm, no fun! I enjoyed the warm California weather a little too much I think.
A couple of videos from our trip to California...
