Olson Reunion!

On Saturday, August 17th we had our annual Olson Reunion up at Payson Lakes (or should I say Payson puddle?!) It was fun to see everyone and enjoy some good food! It's usually super hot when we go up every summer and so everyone enjoys either swimming in the lake or taking out the paddle boat but this year when we went up it was quite dark and stormy. There was a huge black cloud over head and by the time we finished our lunch it started raining a little. We kept thinking it would get better but then it started hailing and then it just down poured. We were all huddled under these two pavilions we brought up, lol. It didn't last long but it was wet enough that we decided it was time to head home. It was actually a lot of fun even with all the rain. 

This was in the middle of the down pour. You can't see just how bad the rain was coming down but it was insane! We were all just laughing it was just so insane. What else can you do?

On our way home we noticed all these people taking pictures outside there car. We were able to stop and see everyone was looking at a fire that the lightning from earlier had caused. It was pretty crazy! They got the fire out pretty quickly which was good!
