4th of July at the Cabin!

On the 4th of July this year Matt and I both had the day off, so we decided it would be fun to join our family down in Southern Utah at our families cabin. It's become a tradition to spend the 4th of July at our families cabin, however some years it's been hard for both Matt and I to get the time off to go down. We were very thankful both our jobs had the day off so we could go down to celebrate. In fact both Liam and Abby have never been down to the cabin so it was fun taking them down for their first time.

The drive down, which is about 3 hours, was actually pretty good considering we have two children with us. Abby and Liam slept most of the way...

Once we finally got to the cabin the kids were glad to get out of the car and run around a little.

On the 4th of the July we went into town and enjoyed the 4th of July parade.

After the parade we spent the rest of our time enjoying family and the great outdoors at the cabin. Abby even went on a few rides on the side-by-sides, especially when we went down the pond!

I think Abby and Liam had the funnest time at the sand pile. Those kids love playing in dirt!
