Some Summer Pics...

My amazing bud Ashley took some new summer photos of Matt and I just love them! We got these taken mid-June but I just got to posting them now, lol! I think she does such a good job, thanks Ashely!

Well I am just at work and thought I better write a little something. Well nothing really new to report, me and my baby are just having a good time being married, adjusting to our life tougher. i will admit though i love my husband more then life itself sometimes I find it a little harder then I thought, just the little things that maybe I wasn't aware of, for instance occasionally Matt looses his temper, whether he gets frustrated or is maybe just having a tough day he has a short temper that sometimes catches me off guard. The wonderful thing though is that he is quick to notice when he has hurt my feelings.

This last Saturday at about 8 o'clock I suddenly got very dizzy and sick and started throwing up and Matt was probably the most sincere most concerned for my health and I ever saw. He was beautiful! He was so scared for me and just wanted me to get better. That was a time I really really felt his love and just how much he truly wanted to make me happy and safe. Matt offered to even stay up with me all night to make sure I was ok and safe and comfortable. At about midnight I stared feeling better so Matt came to bed and just held me it was so wonderful!

I have to admit one of my favorite parts of the day is lying next to my baby, cuddling with him just being close and feeling completely content with life. Sometimes I get stressed out with work, bills, friends, money, and life in general. I feel bad because I think I take out that frustration on Matt because he is there when it's not his fault. I find myself not being able to talk to Matt about my feelings sometimes until they build up so much i shut myself off. One thing I am working on is just opening myself to him and making it my daliy goal to make him happy and forget about my worries.

Matt is just so amazing and beautiful and he is just everything to me and all I want is to be the kind of wife he deserves. I'm just so thankful for Matt and that we are so strong in the gospel. I am so thankful we have the same values and beliefs and we are continually trying to be better people!

Some of my thoughts...

I wanted to just take a second to write about some of my thoughts. I just mostly wanted to express my sincere and amazing love for my husband. Matt is just so incredibly amazing! he puts up with me and there's something to be said of that. I just feel so lucky and more blessed to have him in my life, he is an eat to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, and arms to wrap around me. I will admit I have had to adjust to marriage life but its' been so much easier then anyone has said or old me. The hardest thing is probably getting use to the differences we have, but I tell you Matt is the most wonderful thing in my life, thank you Lord for my baby! I love you Matt and I than the Lord everyday day for you!

My Birthday / Mother's Day

For my birthday this year Matt went all out! It's so fun having this year a year of "first's" for me and Matt and my first birthday with us together was AMAZING!

Since my birthday was on Saturday we decided to go up to Park City for the weekend. Before we headed up we stopped by "The Garden's" at Thanksgiving Point. Matt had been a while ago but I haven't so he suggested it and it was just beautiful!




I can't believe how many flowers and fountains and just really beautiful areas there were. It was really neat! After that we headed up to Park City and stayed at this really nice hotel. It was a tad bit expensive but so much fun!! We decided we want to keep this a tradition.




The next day we decided to venture in to Park City and see the sites. One of the stops we stopped at was the old original prison in Park City, it was kind of crazy and very creepy!




After that we went to Park City's main street and walked up and down seeing all the different places. One of the stops we saw was this Monkey Bar that made me laugh cause Matt is my little monkey!


We also went to where the ski jump was for the Olympics, it was really cool!





Matt got me a lot of goodies! He loves giving gifts I guess cause he just kept on giving me more and more!


This is the nice hotel we stayed at, it was so beautiful!



On Sunday after we came home we went to my mom's house for a Mother's day BBQ and she opened some presents as well as I did from my family.










We both got a lot of good stuff, we are so lucky we have such amazing family! My first birthday with Matt was more then I could ask for. Matt is such a good hubby!!

Happy Birthday Mom!

We celebrated my mom's birthday on May 10th this year with a family dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. It was the first time we've been there and it was pretty tasty!



After dinner we went back to her house to open presents and have some dessert! I love my mom so much and I am so grateful for any and every opportunity that we have to spoil her and let her know how much we care for her!! Happy Birthday Mom, you deserve the best!!!!!!!
