To start off our get-a-way we stopped by Red Robin where we had our very first date back in August 2005. What a fun little place to grab a bite to eat and it doesn't hurt that the food is pretty stinkin amazing!
Yummy Strawberry Lemonade!! So good!After lunch Matt gave me my anniversary present...a shopping spree!! He completely spoiled me and I went all out! So much fun!
Next we drove up to Logan to stay at the Anniversary Inn. We first stopped by the Logan Temple and I couldn't believe how huge and breathtaking it was! It was my first time seeing the Temple in person (that I can remember) and it was amazing!!
The next day we stopped by Rubio's for lunch which has turned into an anniversary tradition for us!
Our last activity of the get-a-way included surprising Matt with his anniversary present a "Discovery Flight" with Leading Edge Aviation (they are so super nice, I definitely recommend them!) The flight was awesome! The instructor had Matt in the pilots seat and even let him take over the controls! We flew around Salt Lake Valley for about 30-45 mins and it was AMAZING! Matt has always wanted to fly and I know having the opportunity to fly the plane was something he could have never imagined. I know he had a blast!

What an AMAZING anniversary! It was more then I could have ever expected!! I can't believe how lucky I am every day I get to wake up next to my hubby and know that I get to spend an eternity with him!! XOXO

Oh my goodness!! What a fun anniversary!! I can't believe that you flew in a little plane! I am so proud of you. I would have been freaking out!!!
